I'm an old man. Well, I'm not really old, but I've lived a long time. The world I was born into was different in so many ways, it's hard to understand.

I've done a lot of things to get by. I've been a construction worker, a cook, a dishwasher, a librarian, a bouncer, a sysadmin, a programmer, a model and a teacher. But there's really only one job that I've been invested in enough to define myself by and that's father.

If you want to get a hold of me, you can find me in the fediverse fediverse.

Oh, and why IPX Fong? It's a tag I've used for a looooong time. I had to pick a name to use on BattleNet. I had just watched Wing Chun where King-Tan Yuen plays a character who is good at math named Abacus Fong. I had been doing a lot of work with Novell NetWare which relied heavily on IPX/SPX for networking and, as they say, the rest is history.
